• Identify land and development opportunities through various channels, including agency and broker networks, local authorities, architects, and investors.
• Conduct site inspections to assess risks and opportunities.
• Liaise with local authorities and statutory bodies to gather key information on development timelines, opportunities, and risks.
• Compile relevant data to support the preparation of site layouts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to develop comprehensive development appraisals and business cases.
• Present development  opportunities to senior country management and the group management team.
• Prepare detailed commercial heads of terms and negotiate agreements with vendors and external stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact throughout the legal acquisition process.
• Work closely with external planning consultants and local planning authorities to navigate sites through the planning process.

• A degree or higher education qualification in Real Estate, or a related technical field and be ideally RICS accredited.
• Proven experience in a similar role within property development; logistics and warehouse real estate experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of the property development process.
• Proficiency in Excel and/or property appraisal software.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of UK planning laws, property regulations, and legal frameworks.
• Ability to travel within the UK, with occasional business trips to Europe
• Valid UK driving licence.
